I’ve been brewing extract batches, in my in-laws kitchen for years now. I could be brewing at home, but my house’s temperature hasn’t been conductive to proper fermentation. All of this will be coming to an end. My neighbor gave me an old mini fridge with which I will build a smart fermentation chamber!
First step was getting an old fridge, now I have to find the time to pull the guts out and build a chamber. I am hoping to use a raspberry pi to create a PID temperature controller for both my ferm chamber and upcoming keezer. The raspi should be able to handle both of those as well as host a page for logging and web tracking.
Time will tell.
